About Transfer-2CD

"In
session", circa 1985
Mark Lyon began as a
recording engineer in the early '70's when everything was still done with analog "tape". A
few years later he designed and constructed, along with his partner, a 16 track
studio. After hundreds of hours behind the console, it was time to move on. He became involved in the design and construction of a
full blown 24 track studio. Mark was the chief engineer and producer for many
years at that location and worked with both local and major artists .
Mark has worked with many,
many types of music including rock, jazz, blues, new age, punk, gospel, R&B, Ska,
radio and TV commercials and everything in between. He is also a musician and
song writer and plays guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. He currently has a 32
track studio built in his home.
While raising a family of
two kids, Mark branched out and learned how to write software. He is currently
the owner of All Stats Software and has over a dozen software titles published.
With his love of music and
experience with computers and programming, audio restoration was a natural.
After some experimenting he decided to start Transfer-2CD. It has fast
become a full time business with many, many happy and satisfied
customers.
In creating
Transfer-2CD, he also sought out the best software, along with new and
vintage equipment to work with. Here's a list of some of the software and equipment he
